Panel on Latest Approaches in Measuring the Added Value of Audit and Challenges

Within the scope of the Conference on “Social Sciences Within the Framework of the Latest Developments in the World” organized by International Business Economics and Marketing Society (IBEMS), Turkish Court Of Accounts held a panel about “Latest Approaches in Measuring the Added Value of Audit and Challenges” on 18-19 April 2019 in the Conference Hall of the Maltepe University and was hosted by the Maltepe University.

The Panel started with the opening speech of Mr. Seyit Ahmet BAŞ, President of Turkish Court of Accounts and along with the Presidents and Deputy Presidents of Serbia, Maldives, Azerbaijan, Poland, Nepal and Afghanistan Supreme Audit Institutions, 43 senior representative from 12 Supreme Audit Institution and officials from Turkish public and private auditing companies and professional chambers participated.

In the panel that brought together all the national and international stakeholders of audit task, presentations were made by the representatives of other countries’ SAIs and international organizations on the basis of 6 sessions which are given below and the developments related to measuring and increasing the added value of the audits carried out by the private sector and public institutions were shared.
