20th Foundation Anniversary Celebration Programs of the SAI of the Republic of North Macedonia

The President of the TCA Seyit Ahmet BAŞ went to Skopje on 29.03.2019 Friday at the invitation of the Acting Auditor General of the SAI of the Republic of North Macedonia, Nasır ADEMI, to attend the 20th Foundation Anniversary Celebration Programs of the SAI of Republic of North Macedonia.

Our President addressed the participants at the opening of celebration programs and expressed that he was pleased to be in the friendly and brotherly country of the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the 20th Foundation Anniversary Celebration Programs of the SAI of the Republic of North Macedonia. In his speech, our President expressed his wish that the close and friendly relations between the SAIs of two countries continue and improve. Our President also attended a round table meeting on “Relations between SAIs and Parliaments” in the framework of celebrations.

President BAŞ gifted the Acting Auditor General of the SAI of the Republic of North Macedonia, Nasır ADEMİ, a “cufic” plate with a panel inscription that represents the Divan-ı İşraf (Court of Control), which was an entity that performed the audits tasks related to the state’s financial transactions in the historical Turkish states of Karakhanids, Ghaznevids and Seljuks, and the work titled Middle East Accounting History, which provides information on the five thousand years of Middle East accounting history.
