XI EUROSAI Congress

Following the postponement of XI EUROSAI Congress to 2021 due to the pandemic crisis, EUROSAI Governing Board decided at its 52nd meeting to divide the Congress programme in two parts based on the proposal of the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic as the next EUROSAI President. According to this proposal:

• An institutional part was held online on 14 and 15 April 2021 and it encompassed 53rd and 54th EUROSAI Governing Board meetings and the compulsory parts of the Plenary Sessions.
• A technical part in a form of a standard conference, with all the workshops, the marketplace, and the rest of the administrative topics, will take place in Prague when face-to-face meetings are possible again.

At the plenary sessions of the Congress, following the handover of the Presidency from the TCA to the SAI of Czech Republic, reporting on implementation of TCA’s Presidency Programme during 2017-2021, implementation of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan, activities of Portfolio Holders as well as those of WGs/TFs and financial issues such as 2022-2024 Budget were made. Also, elections of the next President, two GB members and EUROSAI auditors were held during this online Congress.

Draft Agendas of the 53rd nd 54th GB meetings were prepared by the collaborative work of the TCA, Secretariat and SAI Czech Republic.
