Online Meetings with EUROSAI Governing Board Members

Before the very fast approaching XI EUROSAI Congress as well as the 53rd and 54th GB meetings during 14-15 April 2021, Mr. Seyit Ahmet BAS, President of EUROSAI and the Turkish Court of Accounts held online meetings with EUROSAI Governing Board members.

In the first part of the mentioned meetings, Mr. Baş had meetings with the Presidents of SAIs of Czech Republic (incoming Presidency), Poland, Latvia, Spain (the Secretariat) and Moldova. In the second part, the e-meetings will be organized with the Presidents of SAIs of the Netherlands and Finland.

Adhering to the principle of open dialogue and strong communication, Mr. Baş attached great importance to the meetings held in advance of the main events in order to discuss significant matters with the GB members individually as well as to inform them about the agenda items for the well-functioning of the events. Within this context, during the e-meetings held with the GB members, Mr. Baş shared brief information on the Survey held among EUROSAI members, its possible implications in the update of the ESP, new draft of the General Procedures, reports prepared by the Coordination Team and some other administrative issues. Mr. Baş also explored the possible issues that the GB members would like to address in the upcoming meetings.
