EUROSAI Memorial Plantation Area: Together We Are Stronger

The TCA, as both the President of the EUROSAI and CT as well as the holder of the Overall Governance and Culture Portfolio during the period 2017-2021, has expanded great energy on the achievement of the objectives in the Operational Plan and thus the ESP, attaching great importance to the enhancement of communication with every single member and encouraging high qualified and value adding initiatives for the benefit of EUROSAI Community.

Even though we could not come together physically for EUROSAI’s 30th Anniversary, TCA attributed a Memorial Plantation Area to symbolize our rooted cooperation in line with the motto “Together we are stronger” for the commemoration of this remarkable event.

The Memorial Plantation Area is composed of trees dedicated to all 50 members and to esteemed former Presidents of EUROSAI as well as to EUROSAI Working Groups and Task Forces.

 

Through an open dialogue culture and always bearing in mind the diversity of the region, the TCA has successfully paved the way for the development of new and agile forms of cooperation and communication among members through effective coordination and hopefully increased active participation in the accomplishment of strategic goals and governance enhancements.

Based on the experience gained throughout this Presidency period, TCA finds it worth mentioning to firmly adhere to the spirit of “Governing as a team” and “open dialogue” principles for the bright future of EUROSAI Community.

As a member of both EUROSAI and ASOSAI, TCA believes that strength comes from synergy and therefore will eagerly continue to contribute to EUROSAI Community as a GB member and again later as a member of EUROSAI in the upcoming period, with the knowledge and experience gained from different platforms.
