Strengthened Cooperation with Regional Organizations and External Stakeholders

During the Turkish Presidency, EUROSAI has continued reinforcing its fluent relation with INTOSAI bodies and developed new cooperative channels with other external stakeholders with especially the great efforts of the Secretariat and the SAI of Netherlands as the holders of related Portfolios.

Among these achievements, the organisation of the first EUROSAI-AFROSAI joint seminar on “Sharing experience about auditing for Sustainable Developments Goals (SDG): A view from different Regions” in November 2019, hosted by the SAI of Portugal and the successful holding of IX EUROSAI-OLACEFS e-Joint Conference hosted by the SAI of Hungary in September 2020 under the topic "The Covid-19 pandemic: a unique opportunity for SAIS to highlight the impact of their work" were so remarkable.

 

Participation of EUROSAI in the exhibition space of the XIII INCOSAI with a booth coordinated by the Secretariat and the Presidency also provided its numerous visitors with an excellent opportunity to learn about EUROSAI’s initiatives. EUROSAI materials were shared in this booth and videos on several audit topics and emerging issues were displayed.
